as a harmonica teacher i was looking for a really good intro book for students. this book meets all the needs many interesting songs, clear instructions, and a dvd so students can hear what things should sound like. I've tried several books and this one is by far the best.
I sent this to my grandson along with a harmonica I bought elsewhere. He seemed pleased and learned to play three songs in an hour or two.
I would call that a successful gift.
Great book for beginners. I got this hoping to quickly be able to play some Christmas Carols and boy did it ever come through for me. In just a couple of days I am playing Silent Night without looking at the music. I am working on some others now. Great book.
