LK Collins delivers another quick and incredibly sexy romance that will heat up the bedroom!
Sexual Encounter is insta-lust to the extreme. From the moment these two see each other the energy between them pulsates, and they quickly engage in their desire for each other. Although, this relationship starts out quickly, LK Collins still manages to make them have more than just the physical. The way Jett supports her, even if it is unethical for his profession, they way she implicitly trusts him, without even really knowing him, and the vulnerability she exposes in the bedroom by placing her trust in him all adds to the development of them as an emotional couple. So while their relationship moves very quickly, it is still believable and authentic.
The plot of this novel is uber-sexy, really so much sex occurs, but sometimes that is just what I am in the mood for. What I love though is that with an LK Collin book, I get a good story too! There is some suspense and some forbidden element to the story, and I can never put it down until the final page has been read. The one thing that I do wish is that the conflict of the story would have had more of an impact on the development of the plot. I was waiting for the big explosion like her previous book, and it never came. I do love, though, her choice of conflict, as it kept me enjoying Jett and Natalie together as a couple.
LK Collins continues to be one of my go-to steamy romance writers. I always know the sex will be off the charts, and I will get a story that will entertain me from the opening pages.

Jett Jordan is a lawyer, working on a divorce for his client, Tom. Tom has been dragging his feet on coming to an agreement with his soon-to-be ex-wife and Jett is getting to the point where he really wishes he could drop this case. He really dislikes the names that Tom uses for her. When he gets to his office, he is paying more attention to his phone than anything else when he presses the button for the elevator. That is, until he notices her and catches her scent. He is immediately drawn to her and he keeps thinking dirty thoughts about her, only to find out that she is going to the same floor that his office is on. With everything that he has seen working with divorce cases, he doesn't really date or have any plans of ever getting attached to anyone.
Natalie is there to meet her lawyer, so that all four parties can set down together and come to a final decision. Natalie wants the Malibu house, which he is refusing to give up since it was one of his first purchases. She wants it because it is where she made her final memories of her mother's last months of life. Since Tom forced her to give up her very lucrative business (she was an interior designer) when they married she wants the money that he promised her.
When Jett can't get Natalie off his mind all day, he ends up calling her to come in for a quick meeting to discuss a settlement. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get Tom to agree to anything, so Natalie is irate with him. The sexual attraction is so strong between the two of them, that she can't say no when he kisses her and takes things to a level that she is unsure they should be at.
I absolutely LOVED Jett and Natalie. They have such a strong connection to each other that they can't keep their hands off each other, even if it means they have to face the consequences, especially when he goes against what his client wants to give Natalie what she truly deserves. And I really enjoyed Oliver and his reaction to Natalie. You don't want to miss this one. It's a quick read, but VERY satisfying!

I don't usually read books like this but it had me wanting more and more every time! Highly recommended if you're into this kind of book or not.
This story was just ok and very predictable.
I just could not get into this short novella. I think if it had been longer with some character build up, the story would have been better.
The chemistry was only the beginning. The lawyer, Jett ends up being the good guy after meeting the soon to be ex wife, Natalie. The ups and downs of the divorce are the main story. Frustration abounds as the husband tries to pull all the tricks he can. Eventually it all comes together but reading about it is like watching a wreck& not being able to stop! Very enjoyable!
